Source: Katy Perry’s Youtube Channel – Random Ad pause
| I was searching the web for a different vid to embed in the PS22 n Katy Perry on Oprah post from earlier today. I’d noticed the one selected from ET Online’s web site (here) auto started. Didn’t figure users would like to be surprised by the sound of unexpected “fireworks,” so off I went to track down another. Tried Katy Perry’s Youtube Channel. No luck finding the Oprah vid, but when I randomly clicked the pause button to view her page media-free, my random choice landed me another rainbow alert. Go figure! |

Rainbow Alerts (RA) are confirmations of when I've received what I've come to refer to as a rainbow reference.
Now I am not a little girl in a ruffled dress, black patent leather shoes and blonde ringlets, so rainbow's were never my thing. As a matter of fact, it wasn't until a family member passed in May of 2009, that I even noticed them any more than the next guy. Since then, however, I've seen, heard, or otherwise been introduced to rainbows on an increasing basis. More
Some are actual, live, personal sitings. Others come in the form of images, songs, writings, and so fort. The first week after the passing mentioned above, I got a couple a day. Then they slowed down to a few times a week. Then they sped up to several times a week. Then daily. As of the start of this blog on Jan 1, 2011, the number of rainbow references has revved up to as many as 6 or 7 each day! Just incredible.
I rarely go looking for them, but when I do, I don't count those as a rainbow reference, because I had "intent" when I went searching. Only those I stumble upon are considered Rainbow Alerts. And, they come at the funniest times - listening to the radio, email messages from strangers, reading a book, web site, or other piece that has nothing remotely to do with rainbows.
I have to admit it never gets old. Enjoy every one of 'em. And I wanted to find a way to share the experience with others, cause if you don't have it happen to you it's a challenge to believe it could happen.
So, I'll do my best to post them all, but on those days where there are more that find me than I have to to throw up on this site I'll have to opt for posting what I can.
